I feel like this is the right section to post my suggestion in since this thread is all about character balance. I'm a newb that has never encountered baal/diablo/mephisto before... only have gone up to lilith so my suggestion may be terrible. I'm just trying to help tho. Generating and eliminating ideas does nothing but progress the game. Suggestion for Disgust: Give him an ability to become invulnerable for 3 seconds (arbitrary # subject to change) so he can tank the 1 shot hits. Since he's not dps, this would be useless to only save him. I thought of having him make the entire squad invulnerable via an AoE ability, but this seemed a lil much. If this was allowed, he would need some type of backfire to make up for such a good ability (i.e. kill himself or, a better idea, anybody above a certain % hp does not become invulnerable. This would make it harder for the surviving members to finish and it would require some set up before the 1 shot.) Or you could allow him to target one other member which makes that teammate invulnerable as well as himself (1 dps + disgust also seems a bit useless tho). I was thinking it'd be better to have him target 2 members, but I can't really see how you would do this (an AoE ability would make it possible for more than 2 to become invulnerable). If invulnerability or making a new skill is out of the question, I guess you should ignore this. This invulnerability skill should go to Disgust because its a tank-related ability that would make him useful. It also resolves the untankable 1 shot issue with the bosses. It's really a support ability, but Bless doesn't need the buff as much as Disgust does.. and tanks act as a support for dps anyways. Hope you guys consider this. Well maybe not invul but 30-40k armor and 99% magic resist should come close

the new E is: +80% magic defense and the modified D is: +5000 defense
you can get about total 92% magic resist with basic items and around a max of around 98% with the right items and stuff, but youre looking at a realistic max of ~97%

If this amount of armor and magic resist allows the members to survive a 1 shot skill then it should be a short duration AoE skill. If it doesn't, then you'd have to make it a single target spell. As a self-targeting buff, this would help Disgust's tanking ability, however, seeing that taunt would remain an issue... the skill wouldn't be that useful.I noticed that Pentagram summons taunt a boss almost immediately. Maybe you should take advantage of this and give Disgust a skill that transforms him into a summon so he taunts the boss the same way. This should be combined with an armor/mag res buff. Combining will save space.

The fact is bosses in this map are shit , they 1 shot tanks which makes it more bull shit and to sum it up there isn't any need of you making a disgust unless you are going for meph. its either rework this 1 shot bull shit that bosses have or just give tanks the thing that they need "A ANTI 1 SHOT SKILL".

Wouldn't it make sense to make all the one shot kill abilities deal spell damage then allow tanks to use an ability that grants spell immunity for a short period. I am new to the game but in plain black and white, this surely could resolve the issue...? This would also then mean tanks have to time when to use it in order to not die and wipe the group, simples.

already mentioned stuff about disgust, but unless you already tried using Disgust to tank with the edited/new spell that gives bonus resist, then okay, tell me, and ill make changes, but until then, you guys are talking about the old disgust, not the new one

disgust is fine, now add something to do late game other than farming 2 bosses.
