Hello everyone!
Hell Tower of Babel is high lvl Dungeon. The dungeon has 4 stages. Each level varies between Lesser Minions and Bosses and they each require specific strategies. I want to help you with those strategies, which is why I made this guide.
Before we start - this guide made in Masin Afterbirth FEX3 version because I cannot battle the waves alone in Fullbirth, but it doesn't make any difference as the strategies are the same.
Only 4 people can enter the Tower, so the recommended setup is:
Tank - Disgust/Revenge - Amount; 1
DPS - Cloud/Slaughter/Nightmare - Amount; 2
Support - Blessing/Miku - Amount; 1
All party members should be present before entering - If more than 4 heroes are present at the Tower's entrance, when pressing Q () four heroes (chosen at random) will be teleported into the Tower of Babel.
Wave 1: Skeletal Horrors
This wave has some Skeletons and Skeletal mages. Easy wave that requires no strategy, just a bit of damage to burn them down.
Wave 2: The Cultist
This wave consists of 6 Mini-skeletons, and a Dark Cultist.
The Mini-skeletons can cast an Energy Ball that deals a lot of damage in a small Area of Effect, while casting, the Skeletons say "Lend me you power..." before the skill is launched towards its target.
The Dark Cultist has a strong AOE Ability that he can cast, which emits Carrion Swarms around him. The spell itself has a cast time, so you have time to escape. While beginning the channel, a text appears saying ""Lend me your power..."" and once it ends, a text comes up saying ""Unholy decay"" If you're playing a character that does -NOT- possess any defensive abilities or immunities to damage, then you are going to be one-shot (Mainly Agility/Intelligence heroes). It is heavily recommended that you dodge all the waves, and you should kill off the minions as soon as you can, as they only add unnecessary damage taken. When all minions are slain, proceed to turn your focus to the Boss. Run away when he says "Lend me your power...", or you will likely die unless you have any sort of magic immunity.
Wave 3: Harmony of Ice and Fire
The two bosses of this wave are called The Black and White Sisters. The Black one has less Armor and deals less damage through her Auto-Attacks. The Black Sister also has an ability where she forms a big fiery circle around her target, and can jump to a selected player and slow the vicinity around the player. The White Sister has more Armor and Auto-Attack damage, along with a similar Ability (But in Ice) which spreads out a large amount of small ice bolts that deals a lot of damage if you're close to them. She also has an identical Jump skill to the Black Sister, and a passive ability which slows her target's Attack Speed & Movement Speed. When one of Sisters have been slain, the remaining sister goes into an Enrage. If you kill the Black Sister, the White Sister will enter Enrage Mode and start to use her jump skill very frequently, and it's far more difficult to avoid with the slow from her passive. She will also use the Area of Effect Ice Bolt Ability. I would recommend to kill her first because if you kill the White Sister, the Black Sister activate her Enrage mode, she has more Physical Damage and Max Attack speed, along with her regular Fire Spell. Both sisters will use their skills randomly. When one of them says "Let me lend you a hand, Sister" they will use ice and fire wave on one of your team also they will be stationary while casting. As you see the White one says "Let me lend you a hand, Sister" and the Black one has something like a pentagram, that pentagram shows you direction of wave skills, just move away from this and you should be fine. When the Black Sister says that the White Sister has something like a pentagram too. Because we start from the White Sister so their second skills is JUMP. She will say "Let my cries chill the living, NAME" and spawn white circles under her target. It's like a mark that indicates where she will jump and use her Ice Bolts -TWICE-, and if you stay at the destination when she arrives, you'll be instantly killed due to the insane damage it does. It is heavily recommended that you practice your reaction time and improve your ability to dodge the skillshots.
And now, allow me to tell you a bit about the Black Sister's Jump. She will say "Your soul shall burn, NAME" before she jumps to her target. And deal a lot of damage in an Area of Effect around the target.
It is recommended that you run away from this, and also that you run -AWAY- from your team, as it could potentially lead to their death.
Wave 4: Souls of the Night Rain
Only one boss with two powerful abilities, upon reaching 50% health, she will enter a second phase. She will use her head as her weapon, and apply a poison that ticks over time. She has two abilities, one which is a dash. She chooses a target to dash towards, and if the dash connects with her target, the target will be instantly one-shot, and killed. It can, however, be avoided with Mephisto's Armor if you manage to time it right and press it at the last moment, or if you have an item or ability that provides a large amount of Magic Resistance. (Revenge/Disgust) The best way to dodge that skill is BODYBLOCK, the target should get as far away from the boss as he can, and a team mate should walk inbetween the dashing line to nullify her ability. The boss will say "The end draws near!!, NAME" before using her dash ability. If you fail with blocking the dash, she will say "Your end has come, NAME" and the target will die. Her second ability will make her jump to a target, and repeatedly summon Carrion Swarms that deal a LOT of damage around the target. The boss will say "I can wait no longer...!, NAME" before using the ability. The target should hide in a corner, away from the teammates.
The Teammates shouldn't run away too far, though, as she can decide to use her dashing ability right after her Carrion Swarm ability has ended, and if you're unlucky, she will choose the target that was just hit by the Carrion Swarms. So try and stay relatively close, but make sure not to get hit by the Carrion Swarms, as they will nearly guarantee a death if you're hit by more than two.
If you manage to beat all four waves of the Tower of Babel, you could be rewarded with a secret flag - Lucifare's Bloodline.
P.S. I'll upload some screenshots later if that is desired, I can also attach some replays of some Solo Tower Runs so you can get a grasp of the mechanics necessary to use in action.
This Guide was initially made by Satanael, so massive credits to him for publishing it.
I refined it and improved it a lot with grammatical fixes, and additional information about some of the fights.
Yours sincerely, Mr.TwD (Dan) and Satanael!
